CHIEF OF THE AIR STAFF HANDS OVER A COMMERCIAL AIRCRAFT.—Air Vice-Marshal D. V. Carnegie yesterday flew a de Havilland Dominie aircraft from Ohakea to Harewood on its last flight as a Royal New Zealand Air Force plane. This photograph shows Air Vice-Marshal Carnegie handing over the plane to Mr C. H. Brazier, managing-director of Airwork (New Zealand), Ltd., the new owners. The Dominie will in future be used on passenger and freight services in the South Island.
