DUKE TO LEAD R.A.F. ASSOCIATION
LONDON, November 23. The Duke of Edinburgh, on his return from the Royal tour, will become president of the Royal Air Force Association, which has branches in many Commonwealth places he will visit. The association has about 250.000 members from the R.A.F. and the Commonwealth Air Forces, both men and women. The Duke’s acceptance of the appointment was contained In.a letter to the present president (Marshal of the Royal Air Force Lord Tedder).
