Ten Dead in Road Race.—Mexican highwav guards with fixed and orders to shoot to kill dotted the course of the 1912-mile panAmerican car race today in an effort to cut down the death roll by keeping spectators out of contestants’ way. Six spectators were killed on the first day. when an American stock car ploughed into them at 90 m.p.h., as they crossed the road to see a wrecked car.—Mexico City, November 22.
