Prizes and trophies competed for by exhibitors at the Canterbury Jersey cattle show on Saturday differed from those usually given at stock shows. Winners of each class were presented with prizes that included cutlery sets, a smokers’ companion, wall-clock, barometer, water set, silver teapots, jdgs and cake dishes. .The total value of awards made in 10 classes was £l5O.
