The fabric is "milium” —impregnated with aluminium—which acts as an insulator deflecting the sun’s rays or retaining body heat. It will be introduced to this country by a Canadian textile firm. It can be used with any material from the heaviest taffeta to the softest crepe, according to Mr R. J. Bruck, the firm’s vice-president.
