PRIZE-GIVING CEREMONY

The air race prize-giving ceremony will be held at Harewood on Thursday afternoon when the GovernorGeneral (Sir Willoughby Norrie) will make the presentations. The ceremony will take place on a dais near the parked aircraft which took part in the race. The public enclosure used during the week-end will be available to the public and traffic arrangements will be the same. Motorists will follow routes indicated on car stickers, which will still be valid. The Mayor (Mr R. M. Macfarlane, M.P.) yesterday asked employers to make arrangements for their staffs tn attend the function if possible.
