GENERAL CLARK'S FAREWELL
(Rec. 10 p.m.) TOKYO, October 7. The former United Nations Supreme Commander jn the Far East, General Mark Clark, left Tokyo today for San Francisco. In a message of farewell to his troops, General Clark said: “Our resistance to Communist imperialism and aggression in Korea has been a noteworthy demonstration —to the Communists as well as to the rest of the world. “I have been deeply moved by the determination, courage and heroism of these men and women of many nations who have come so far from their homelands to fight in the cause of humanity.”
