Farming Scholarship Awarded.— One of two scholarships offered by the New Zealand Meat and Wool Boards to enable young farmers from the Dominion to spend six months in Britain and extend their experience of farming and marketing organisations has been awarded to Mr John Hegarty, chairman of the Gisborne district organisation of Young Farmers’ Clubs, and leader of the team which recently won the Dominion stock-judging championship: Mr Hegarty was educated at Wanganui Collegiate School and Massey College.
