British Designers To Visit Canada (Rec. 7 p.m.) LONDON, September 20. Thirteen of Britain’s leading aircraft jet engine and rocket designers will visit Canada next month for discussions oh "revolutionary aeronautical projects” with the Canadian Government. This was announced in London today. The party will be led by Sir Frank Spriggs, managing director of the Hawker-Siddeley group, which comprises more than 40 per cent, of Britain’s aircraft industry, and Sir Roy Dobson, chairman and founder of A. V. Roe, Canada, the Dominion’s largest aircraft and jet engine company. Among the designers will be the principals in some of the superpriority projects for the Royal Air Force. The party will break its journey to Canada for discussions in New York and Washington with leading officers of the United States Air For.ce and Navy. The party is expected in New York on October 6 and in Canada on October 10.
