WEST COAST The following is the forecast for the West Coast of the South Island:— Moderate variable winds; fair in the north, cloudy in the south; mild temperatures. Outlook: cloudy. CHRISTCHURCH WEATHER The day in Christchurch yesterday was fine, with a light to moderate north-east wind and a maximum temperature of 58 J degrees.
