MARLBOROUGH TITLE TO K. J. S. SMITH (New Zealand Press Association) BLENHEIM, September 21. K. J. S. Smith, of Marlborough, won the Marlborough provincial golf title this afternoon when he beat W. Knudsen (Awatere), 4 and 3. Smith, who played off scratch, was untroubled to reach the final. This morning, in the semi-finals, he was two under scratch, when the match finished at the fifteenth hole, and in the final he was on scratch figures when the match ended at the sixteenth hole. He will play at Paraparaumu next month in the invitation tournament, and later at the New Zealand championships at Dunedin. AMBERLEY LADIES* CLUB.
