£249,412 HANDLED ON SATURDAY (New Zealand Press Association) WELLINGTON, September 20. Total investments with the Totalisator Agency Board on Saturday’s race meetings amounted to £249,412 ss. comprising win-and-place bets of £144,786 10s, and doubles bets of £104,625 15s. Investments for the individual meetings, with off-course substitutes, were: Marton: £57,170 (Solar Mist). Dunedin: £46,332 5s (Delayed). Thames: £63,677 (Fair Town). New Brighton: £44,972 10s (Aladdin). Auckland: £40,260 10s.
