SEDITION CHARGE FAILS

(Rec. 12.10 a.m.) SYDNEY, Sept. 18. Three men charged in a special Federal Court today with sedition were acquitted. They were James Norman Bone, Herbert Bovyll Chandler, and Adam Ogston. The Magistrate found that an article in a Communist review which resulted in the charges was not seditious. The Magistrate said that in his view the article was radical political criticism, but the worst that could be said of it was that it was in bad taste.
