SIAMESE TWIN’S BIRTHDAY
(Rec. 8.30 p.m.) NEW YORK, September 16. Rodney Lee Brodie, who was separated by' operation from his Siamese twin brother, was two years old today. His birthday celebrations included a cake with three candles—a good luck wish from the child’s parents that he would safely reach his next birthday.’ The boy still has no bone structure at the top of his head, but is otherwise a normal child. He banged loudly on a drum as his baby guests in a room of the University of Illinois Medical Centre drank milk end ate cake.
