PERTH WOOL SALES END
MARKET DOWN 5 P.C. ON JUNE 12 (Rec. 12.30 a.m.) PERTH, September 16. The wool sales concluded in Perth today with a market about 5 per cent, below Perth June rates, but firm on the Adelaide and Brisbane markets last week. Of the offering of 20,000 bales, 98 per cent, was cleared. Competition was keen and general, with most support from the Continent, Britain, and Japan. Top price was 116 d for five bales of super 64’s.
