HARTNELL FASHIONS FOR ROYAL OCCASIONS A parade of “Hartnell” Fashions will be presented in Beaths on Wednesday, September 23, in aid of the Christchurch Plunket Society. This brilliant Social Function, which will be opened by Mrs W. A. Bodkin, Dominion president of the society, provides an opportunity to help a very worthy cause. J ime § ives the women of Chrigtchurcfi a rare chance to Fee a magnificent collection of clothes designed by Her Majesty the Queens own dressmaker. Besides four original Hartnell frocks, every dress in the Parade is a ful copy of a Hartnell original. There is one only of each of these exquisite frocks, all of which, including the original models, are for sale. These are the clothes smart New Zealand women will -wear during the forthcoming Royal visit. The Parade commences at 8 p.m.. preceded by cocktails and savouries at 7.15 and followed by supper Dress is fomat. Cocktail or evening. The Box Plan is now open, and reservations and tickets, priced at 30s are obtainable at Beaths Cloak Counter on the first floor. —Advt.
