NEW ZEALAND AMATEUR CHAMPIONSHIP
The first four games in the second round of the New Zealand amateur snooker championship were played yesterday. As the results of their second defeat, King (O.), Tremain (A.), and McDonald (O.) have been eliminated. Throughout the day the play was of a
high standard, and the attendance was excellent. The highest break was registered by A. Phillips. Tsie results were:— V. Chpat ((Canterbury), 3, 10, 60, 60, 57, beat C.
