CAR EELIABILITY TRIAL

PEUGEOT DECLARED WINNER (N.Z. Press Association—Copyright) SYDNEY, September 16. Ken Tubman. a 27-year-old Maitland chemist, who drove a Peugeot on the 6500-mile around-Australia reliability trial, and his partner, John Marshall, have been declared the official winners of the event. They lost 19 points. K. Robinson (New South Wales), in a Humber Super Snipe, who lost 20 points, was second, and Peter Antill (New South Wales) in a Chrysler Plymouth, who lost 21 points, was third. Tubman and Marshall will receive a cheque for £lOOO from the sponsors of the trial, Redex Products, Ltd., and about £5OO in gifts from motoring firms. ;
