ROOM HEATERS
Sir,—Would it not seem overdue after several serious cases of burning reported that fireguards should be advocated, if not actually provided, with air forms of heaters likely to scorch? What would be the position of responsibility if damaged clothing were sued for by persons in public buildings unaware of the danger of proximity to a heater? People unused to heaters are even more exposed than those who own one. and yet suffer.—Yours, etc., PREVENTION. August 21, 1953. .
