GAOL SENTENCE FOR EDITOR
(Rec. 10 p.m.) BERLIN, Aug. I®. The editor of a Christian Democratic Party newspaper in East Germany has been sentenced to four years In prison for taking part in the June 17 uprisings. “Volkstimme,” the Communist Party newspaper in the Madgeburg district, said the editor, Werner Pflugh, was charged with leading a crowd of anti-Communist demonstrators into the offices of “Volkstimme.” where they wanted to print antiCommunist leaflets.
