QUEEN’S NAME FOR STREET?
Sir,—Would it not be a graceful tribute to our young Queen to rename one of our main streets. Would that, being of a more permanent nature than £3060 worth, of decorations, a gesture to please her? We have Victoria street: why not Elizabeth to replace Cashel? Would Cashel mind very much? Hereford, Worcester and others might envy the alteration, but would that matter either?—Yours, etc., HISTORY. August 6, 1953.
