Progress League’s Finances.Revenue amounting to £317 in June and July was reported at the monthly meeting of the Canterbury Progress League on Wednesday evening. Expenditure was £137, leaving a credit balance on July 31 of £204. The secretary (Mr T. M. Charters) said the revenue included a number of contributions from business firms and more of these were hoped for. A large number of local bodies had paid their subscriptions during the period and there were only two or three more to come from that source this year, Mr Charters said.
