EVENTS

The New Zealand Horse Society for the North Canterbury area held a jumping show at the Show Grounds yesterday which, for real merit in horsemanship and horses, should have attracted thousands instead of the few hundreds who attended. The object of the show was to give open competition to horses and riders so as to improve the class with a view to entrance m the next Olympic Games under the nationSe ederatic >n Equestre Internationale.
