ARMIES LEAVE BATTLELINE

SEOUL, July 3(U The Allied and Communist armies today completed their withdrawal from the battleline to leave between them a neutral zone two miles and a half wide.

On the Allied side the troops, including the South Koreans, were back by 7.22 p.m. All equipment was brought back and positions were blown Up to leave a desolate, untidy waste. United Nations and Communist observer teams will move into the neutral area tomorrow. Their purpose is to report violations.
