MISSING POLISH PRIEST
FEARS HELD OF KIDNAPPING
(Rec. 9 p.m.) LONDON, July 21. The “Daily Mail” says that a nationwide appeal for information about Father Henry Borynski, a Polish refugee priest, who has been missing ‘for eight days, went out from Bradford yesterday as fears mounted that he may have been kidnapped. ' Bradford’s 1600 Poles are troubled over the disappearance of the popular priest. They fear he may have been compelled by threats to return to Poland, in view of their own experiences of being constantly assailed with Communist “come home” propaganda. Father Borynski, who is well known for his anti-Communlst views, has not been seen since he walked out of his presbytery eight days ago, following a mysterious telephone call. Father Borynski had established that an earlier telephone call did not come from the person supposed to have made it—another priest.
