BOW BELLS TO PEAL AGAIN.—The bombed Church of St. Mary-le-Bow, Cheapside, London, is to be rebuilt in the original Wren design. This photograph of the steeple of the old church was taken in 1941 after enemy action had silenced the famous Bow Bells. Later air raids destroyed the church, but the eleventh century crypt remains.
