Forecast: moderate southerly winds; weather cold, with scattered showers, especially on the coast and in the foothills, where snow is likely to low levels. Outlook for Sunday: showery. WEST COAST The following is the forecast for the West Coast of the South Island:— Moderate variable winds; weather cloudy and cold, with showers at first, but becoming fair later. Outlook for Sunday: fair. CHRISTCHURCH WEATHER The weather in Christchurch yesterday was fine and sunny, with a light north? west wind. The maximum temperature was !>0.6 degrees.
