FREE TRADE IN ALUMINIUM
(Rec. 8 p.m.) LONDON, June 23. The British Government announced today that trading in aluminium would be restored to private enterprise on July 1. Control orders would be revoked and licensing arrangements for private imports would be announced Sh The y ' Minister for Materials (Sir Arthur Salter) said the price would be reduced by about £8 a ton.
