DENTAL DECAY
Sir, —The medical health authorities have no kick coming from them, when speaking upon hopeful health. For all their advice, and friendly clinic we see that they still have a disgraceful tally of decaying teeth. It is absolutely repulsive to see small children’s teeth clotted with wretched, black-like fills. What I think is wrong is the medical weighing machines ana unearthly tack called cod. Baby must not be picked up, and junior must have a rusk nowadays. Strange, I know a mother with no visiting nurse to her eight children, the eldest, aged 12 years, has not a single blemish on his teeth. From him down to the last, each chlid has beautiful teeth. The Maoris had no tooth brush, nor did they have oranges. It is not my business to judge, but I think it is time we got some sound advice from our medical men.—Yours, etc., . THE DIFFERENCE.
