RIFLE SHOOTING
NEW ZEALAND TEAM FOR BISLEY DEPARTURE BY AIR ON MONDAY (New Zealand Press Association) WELLINGTON, June 11. New Zealand’s fourth team of riflemen to shoot for the Queen’s Prize at Bisley will leave Whenuapai at 9 a.m. on Monday in a Royal New Zealand Air Force aircraft for England. Including the team commander (Lieutenant-Colonel H. V. Donald, of Masterton) and the secretary of the National Rifle Association (Colonel E. L. G. Bown), the party will number 17. . . .
The team is due in England on June 23, and facilities for practice at Bisley have been arranged for the New Zealanders from July 4 to July 18. The national meeting will be held from July 6 to July. 18. The team is expected to return in August.
