The above Committee will meet in Christchurch during the period Tuesday. 21st July, 1953, to Friday, 31st Julv. 1953, for the purpose of hearing evidence on the matters covered by its Order of Reference. Any persons or the representatives of any organisation wishing to give evidence before the Committee are asked to communicate as early as possible 'with the Secretary at the address given below, so that the necessary arrangements can be rqade. The Committee is required by its Order of Reference to inquire into and report on matters affecting the administrative control of public hospital and other services provided t by Hospital Boards, and after taking evidence, to make recommendations to the Government for the reform of the present hospital system.
