W. W. ROSS WINS TWO EVENTS (New Zealand Press Association) NAPIER, June. 11. W. W. Ross, <Jf Mangaweka, won both the New Zealand North Island straight huntaway titles today at the national sheepdog trials at TarSdale. W. DampierCrossley, of Parnassus, was second. A start was made today with the zig-zag huntaway event. Results:— New Zealand Straight Huntaway.—W. W. Ross’s Shandy (Mangaweka), 188 points, 1; W. Dampier-Crossley’s Rock II (Parnassus), 186, 2; C. J. Crutchley’s Jim (Naseby), 180, 3; D. Glynan’s Glen (Wairoa), 179 J, 4; L. C. Gallien’s Bill (Porongahau), 1611, 5; N. McGregor's Dick (Napier), 156, 6; J. A. Rawcliffe’s Dick (North Otago), 123, 7. North Island Straight Huntaway.—W. W. Ross’s Shandy, 95 points, 1; W. DampierCrossley’s Rock 11, 94, 2; D. Glynan’s Glen, 3; J. A. Rawcliffe’s Dick. 93, 4; C.
