Call For Free And United Country
(N.Z. Press Association—Copyright) <Rec. 8 p.m.) BONN, June 10. Every member of the West German Bundestag, except 10 Communists today asked the Western Big Three Powers to demand a free and united Germany at any top-level meeting they may have with Russia. After four hours of heated debate in which the Chancellor' (Dr. Adenauer) frequently clashed with the Leader of the Opposition (Mr Erich Ollenhauer), the Deputies closed ranks and passed a resolution which said that the aim of the Four Power conference on Germany must be free elections in all Germany, the establishment of a free All-German Government, the conclusion of; a peace treaty freely negotiated with the All-Ger-man Government, the settlement of all outstanding territorial questions, and guarantees for freedom of action of All-German Government within the framework of the United Nations.
