CHRISTIAN SCIENTISTS’ TRIBUTE
“Christian Scientists welcome this occasion for joining with their fellowChristians in prayer for the wellbeing of Her Majesty and of all her •realms and territories,” said an announcement read in all Christian Science churches throughout the world. . , “The Queen’s appeal in her Christmas message for the prayers of all her people at the time of her Coronation meets with heart-felt and loyal response,” said the statement. “Noone can be unmindful of the high responsibilities Her Majesty is called upon to carry. Christian Scientists rejoice with grateful hearts in the assurance of the ever-presence of God who is Love, and whose aid and comfort make burdens light. Their thoughts turn to the words of the Psalmist: ‘Great peace have they which love Thy law.’ “The Queen is secure in the affection of her people, wherever they may be,” the statement said. “That God’s care and blessing may rest in fullest measure upon Her Majesty and upon all the Royal Family, that her life may be one of unclouded happiness, and that her reign may be marked by peace and prosperity, is the prayerful desire of all Christian Scientists.”
