Leicestershire, 243 (Tompkin 109, Smithson 106) and eight for 256 declared, lost to Gloucestershire 198 (Walsh six for 74) and four for 304 (Graveney not out 126, Wilson not out 88) by six wickets. Glamorgan, five for 378 declared (Parkhouse 84, Watkins 114, Wooler not out 83) and 189 (Davies 71, Ashman five for 40) beat Worcestershire 374 (Bird 125) and 192 (Shepherd five for 45) by 1 run.
