NINE DEAD; SEVEN STILL MISSING
NEW YORK, May 11. Fourteen known survivors and nine bodies have been picked up from the loaded iron ore freighter Henry Stein • brenner. which foundered in a storm on Lake Superior, the United States Coast Guard reported tonight It is possible that the body of a tenth victim was aboard a Coast Guard rescue craft and that some survivors may be aboard another boat Seven men are still missing out of the ship’s crew of 31.
