KENNEL CLUB SHOW
MIDYEAR FIXTURE The mid-year show of the Canterbury Kennel Club, held at the Addington Show Grounds', on Saturday, attracted an entry of 125 dogs. The judge was Mr T. H. Hodge. The best dog or bitch in the show was Mrs G. Mansfield’s cocker spaniel, Marcel Myown Repeat (Aust.). The runner-up was H. R. Johnson’s smooth fox terrier ch. Maitai MSc, bred by the owner. Marcel Myown Repeat was also the winner of the sporting dog limit stakes, sporting dog open stakes, and the junior stakes; for all breeds. The best puppy in the show was Mrs G.
