COMMENT BY EDITOR (from Our Own Reporter) WELLINGTON, April 17. Asked tonight to comment on the references to a court of inquiry made by P ord Freyberg in his maiden speech m the House of Lords. Sir Howard Kippenberger, editor of New Zealand’s Official War History, said that there was no reference to a court of inquiry for General Freyberg in the published official documents dealing with Greece Crete and afterwards. “That is because the documents are only documents and contain no reference to any court of inquiry,” he said. “Anything which is to be said about a court of inqury will be dealt with fully in the# volume on the campaign m Greece, which is now in course of preparation,” Sir Howard Kippeni berger said.
