Red Cross Receives £32,600 In Cash < GOODS WORTH £150,000 ALSO GIVEN (New Zealand Press Association) WELLINGTON, April 10. The Dominion headquarters of the Red Cross Society announced tonight that the Red Cross flood relief fund for Britain and Holland amounted to £32,658, and was expected to reach a total of £33.000. In cases where amounts were specified by donors for allocation to either Britain or Holland, £4050 had been received for Britain and £3099 for Holland. The remaining £25,508 would be distributed on the basis of 60 per cent, for Britain and 40 per cent, for Holland, said the society. In addition, donations of blankets, clothing, and comforts to the value of £150,000 had been received, the society said. One shipment, valued at £50,000, had already been dispatched, and three large shipments would be sent this week-end. The Dominion headquarters of the societj' has received a cablegram from the Turkish Red Crescent, which is the counterpart of the British Red Cross, expressing deepest gratitude for the recent donation of £lOO from the New Zealand Red Cross for earthquake relief in the Dardanelles.
