CANTERBURY MASTER GROCERS

ELECTION OF OFFICERS Officers were elected as follows at the annual meeting of the Canterbury Master Grocers’ Association last evening:— President. Mr J. Davies; vice-presi-dent. Mr J. Henderson; executive, Messrs G. Gray, M. Hunter. A. Kirk, G. Muir. R. T. Marriott, and J. Hardie. The retiring president (Mr A. Still) reported that the secretary (Mr S. E. Field) was not seeking re-election because of ill-health. Mr Still presented a chiming clock to Mr Field in appreciation of his services for four years and a half. Mr E. H. Down, president of the New Zealand Master Grocers’ Federation. presented presidents’ badges to Messrs C. E. Rawlings. J. Wilson, A. Kirk, and Still.
