If AO more ram falls before the racing commences at the New Brighton Trotting Club’s autumn meeting today, the track should provide very sound gomg. The New Brighton course dries out quickly and presents few difficulties for tried pacers and trotters. With good-sized fields of even class engaged, backers are presented with many problems, although the form of most horses has been revealed in recent racing. The double will be on the Burwood Handicap, in which 11 horses of 3mm 23sec to 3min 24sec class will start, and the New Brighton Cun of two miles, 4min 31sec class, in which 16 horses are likely to go to the post.
