Evidence of much juvenile invention was shown in the model garden plans, in which the entrants gave their ideas of the ideal suburban garden. The detail in some of the. exhibits was extremely good. Almost every kind of flower and vegetable was shown somewhere in the show. Large tables were filled with sand saucers, egg cup posies, floating bowls, and sprays, as well as the more standard vase exhibits, and vegetables abounded. In on® corner of the room was a most unusual type of exhibit for a horticultural show in several cases of insects.
