Sir, —Some people leaving New Zealand now to attend the Coronation : of our beloved Queen Elizabeth II . should always bear in mind who helped the people of England to celebrate this joyous occasion. When passing through Churchill’s great Western Approaches they must keep ever green in their memories the sterling qualities of that great soldier and leader, Winston Churchill. By courage and selfless devotion to duty, he carried his people to victory in one of the bloodiest conflicts known to man.—Yours, etc., COMMONWEALTHTONIAN. February 18, 1953.
