MR HOLLAND EXPRESSES SATISFACTION (New Zealand Press Association) WELLINGTON, February 19. Expressing satisfaction at the number of entries received for the LondonChristchurch air race, the Prime Minister (Mr Holland) said, this afternoon that the stage seemed well set for a most thrilling adventure in modern aeronautics. “It must never be forgotten,” he added, “that the objective of the Air Race Council has been to promote interest in British aviation. No-one can tell how far-reaching the results of this great international race will be.” Mr Holland complimented the council on tKe success of its venture.
