PURSUANT to the Transport (Vehicular Traffic Road Closure) Regulations, 1949, notice is hereby given that the Rangiora County Council, for the purpose of permitting the Canterbury Auto Cycle Club to run its Grand Prix Races., proposes, subject to the approval of the Minister of Transport, to close.-,. the following roads to ordinary vehicular traffic for the periods ' indicated hereunder. During the proposed periods of closure . the following provision will be made for ordinary vehicular traffic which would otherwise use the roads:— A permit will be issued to any essential user of the roads to use a vehicle on the roads during the periods of closure. Any person objecting to the proposals is called upon to lodge notice of his objection and ground thereof in writing before Thursday, the 12th day of March. 1953, at the office of the Council.
