RECONSTRUCTION IN KOREA
Criticism Of N.Z. By U.S. Newspaper *
WASHINGTON. February 17. New Zealand was among several nations criticised by the “Washington Post” today for failing to contribute money to South Korea for reconstruction purposes. The newspaper said that some countries had done their share, but other nations best able to extend economic aid to South Korea had ndt offered a cent. No help had come from India, Pakistan, or, “surprisingly enough,” New Zealand. The response from Latin America had been miserable.
The newspaper described these nations as laggards in Korea.
