BUS SHELTERS
Sir, —When erecting shelters over the traffic zones in the Square, could not some seats be provided, too, perhaps around the supporting pillars showing in the diagram in your paper? Such seats'would be most welcome and in fact are .urgently needed by many elderly people, by young mothers, who, having prepared the pram for hanging on the hooks provided, often have to stand waiting for a considerable time, babe and parcels in arms. It is not fitting or proper that they should be subject to this strain.—Yours, etc., WEARY 86. February 17, 1953.
