REINFORCEMENTS FOR KOREA

DRAFTS TO LEAVE N.Z. THIS WEEK (New Zealand Press Association) WELLINGTON, February 9. A draft of 46 K Force reinforcements which will leave by air for Korea this week includes 21 men returning for a second term of service. Four of the 21 came home to New Zealand for discharge, but after their arrival volunteered to rejoin K Force for another 18 to 21 months overseas. Twenty-three of the men, under the command of Captain V. J. Duley, of Masterton, will leave Wellington on Wednesday morning, and the remaining 23, under Captain J. S. G. McLanachan, of Auckland, will leave from Auckland on Thursday. The names of the men in the Wellington draft are:—Captain V. J. Duley (Masterton), Lieutenant W. S. Hopkirk (Hamilton), Staff-Sergeants K. J. Boswell (Petone) and G. Colthorpe (Wellington), Sergeant C. Waaka (Christchurch). Bombardier E. T. Brennan (Timaru), Gunners C. R. Bell (Wellington), T. Gilmour (Wellington), J. B. Hellier (East Gore), G. Temomo (Halcombe), D. S. Watkins (Carterton), R. O. Young (Bulls), and E. R. Marsh (Te Kuiti), Signalmen L. A. Clarke (Carterton) and R. F. Muirhead (Wellington), Drivers F. Wawatai (Gisborne), B. Bush (Napier), J. L. Fuller (Queensland), R. Ehmara (Foxton), P. F. Stafford (Omakau), W. L. Cole (Bulls), and D. Gage (Oamaio), and Corporal P. H. Kirkman (Christchurch).
