October 22. ~ New Zealand yesterday in the United Nations signed the First Protocol ot rectifications and modifications to the text of the tariff schedules annexed to the General Agreement on Tariffs and Trade. The pact will come into force when *ll 34 contracting parties to the General Agreement have signed it All but Australia. Brazil. Indonesia, *hd Nicaragua now have signed.
