ATTEMPTED MURDER CHARGE
(New Zealand Press Association) WANGANUI, October 4. A man who was arrested by a party of police in a farm cottage at Mangaweka on Friday, apneared in the Taihape Magistrate’s Court today on a charge of attempting to murder Selwyn Toms at Mangaweka. The accused, Louis Bowness, aged 52, a roadman, was remanded to appear at Wanganui next Friday.
